The Deuce Story :
During the COVID lockdown, I had the time to learn how to care for and embrace my natural hair. I was excited to get to know the beautiful curls I had kept hidden for so long. I tried new products, learned different techniques, and began to enjoy the process. When the world opened back up and I returned to work, that care had to fit into a much busier schedule. Wash days quickly became wash nights. One night, I was getting ready for bed with damp twists and thinking about how to keep my pillow dry while I slept. That’s when the idea came to me. I wanted one pillowcase that could meet me in both moments: satin for the nights I wanted to protect my curls, and absorbent microfiber for the nights my hair wasn’t quite dry. One wash night sparked an idea and in collaboration with DryZzz Inc, Deuce was born.

Our Mission
We know going to bed with wet hair isn’t the goal, but plans change, nights get late, and sometimes your hair needs more time than you have. Our mission is to bring comfort and convenience to those real moments. The care you put into your hair should still count when the night doesn’t go as planned. Think of us as the insurance of hair care: there when you need it, just in case.
